To the Advocate Community,
First I would like to thank God for giving me the opportunity to work for my community newspaper right out of high school. This past summer has been a real joy for me as a journalist. I cannot express how much I will miss writing informative articles for this newspaper. I would like to thank the entire Grandview community for helping me be a better journalist each day.
To my family, thanks for always being by my side. You have taught me that I can do all things through Christ Jesus. To mom and dad, I love you so much and I thank you for all you have giving me in life.
As for the Hickman Mills community, I love you guys so much. I have learned so much since the first day I walk in the district. Everybody has help me so much in my development of as a man. I would like to thank Superintendent Marge Williams and the district for giving me the Hickman Mills Golden Apple Award for 2005-2006. It was a real honor to accept that award. I truly understand now that it does take a village to raise a child and you guys have done a great job of raising me.
To the advocate staff in Andrea, Nicole and Gavin, thanks for all the lessons and I can’t wait to return next summer.
